Here are just a few pictures from the beginning of my pregnancy. We found out on Dave's sister Lori's birthday! I took the test and I was too excited to wait for Dave to get home so I called him, I know not very big of a surprise but I was too excited!!! The picture with the dogs is how we told our families that we were pregnant! And the others are self explanatory!

I have been really lucky so far being pregnant. I have not been sick at all and I still have been able to work full time! We are still so excited that we are having a little girl! It is so fun looking at the the cute little girl stuff. Now I just have to get Dave to clean out the spare room so we can get her nursery ready!

I know its been forever since I have blogged! I am kind of a slacker I know. But we have not had much to blog about. We have been working a lot and enjoying spending time in our finished condo.

We do have new exciting news, we are pregnant with a baby Girl! Due June 27h, 2012! We are so excited, we were convinced it was a boy but we are so excited it is a girl! Now all the fun begins with picking out bedding and all that fun stuff!

Here are some pictures of our baby Girl from our ultrasound today! We are already wrapped around her little finger, and her Daddy would already do anything for her! We are super excited to be able to have a sweet little girl!!!

Back in January we were able to go to Louisville Kentucky and see Dave's Mom and Dad on their mission. We were able to see; Churchill Downs, The Louisville Slugger Museum&Factory, Mammoth Cave National Park and lots of Kentucky countryside! We had a lot of fun visiting with Mary and Jerry and seeing what they have been doing these last two years. They are such great missionary's and we can't wait for the summer when they get to come home!

Merry Christmas! I know its a little late but at least I finally posted! We decided that for Christmas we really wanted to go to Disneyland. We have never been during the holiday season and can I say it did not disappoint! We had so much fun in the two days that we were there. Christmas day we were able to get in early so we got to ride everything we wanted to and then some twice! We missed being with our families on Christmas day so we are planning on going next year but for my birthday when its not so crowded! But we had a great holiday season in our new home and making new traditions!

My Birthday and Forgotten Carols

In December we got to go to Phantom of The Opera and The Forgotten Carols! For my birthday Dave got me Phantom tickets and the show was so amazing! I could see it over and over and not get sick of it!

For Christmas we decided to surprise the Driscoll kids with tickets to see The Forgotten Carols. Their parents let us tell them that night right before and they were so excited! They love the show and watch the DVD every year but have never been to the live performance. They really enjoyed themselves and Quincy thought the coolest part was getting to meet them all after the show!

This first video is what my dryer does when its finished, my washer also does it. You can turn it off but I like it!! :)

I don't know if this video will work right but it supposed to be of how my cabinets close, you shut them but the have soft closes on them that grab them and bring them in so they don't slam! I have such a hard time when I'm at other peoples houses not slamming their cabinets!

Boxes everywhere! These are pictures of our cabinets before they got put up on the wall. I think we had like something like 300 boxes? Brian and Dave had to assemble every single cabinet box and drawer!!!

Here are some before and during pictures of the kitchen. I can't even believe that we live in the same place, everything is so new and nice! I am one lucky girl!

Here is my beautiful kitchen after! I think that the biggest transformation happened in here. We tore out all the old ugly cabinets and replaced them with white shakers. Got rid of the nasty old white appliances and got nice new stainless steel. Dave's favorite part is the butcher block counter tops!

We got everything at IKEA, I mean everything down to the handles on the cabinets. I really love everything about my kitchen, I especially like the big white farmers sink and the brand new front loading washer and dryer set!

Look how cool my dishwasher is, at IKEA they have what is called an integrated dishwasher where you buy the matching cabinet door and it just attaches right to the dishwasher! How cool!! Also notice the garbage can cabinet, Dave had the great idea to put it in the cabinet because we don't really have anywhere else for it to go!

The pictures on the bottom left of the collage are pictures of our dining area, we decided not to do a dining room table simply because it would stick out into the walk way. Dave had the idea to extend the butcher block and do basically a little bar area, we also wanted room for the computer because we don't really have anywhere else to put it. We can't put it in the spare room because someday when we do have a baby Dave doesn't want it to get on E*Trade. LOL :)

We are really enjoying our condo, we obviously have things that are still left to do but now it is 100% a functional house! There is no way that we would have been able to have this lovely kitchen if it weren't for all of Brian's help! Thanks so much Brian I really appreciate it!!!! And thanks to my amazing husband who has put countless hours into working on making our house amazing! Even when you didn't want to!!!!!!!!! I love you!!!

Thanks for being such great examples to us, we would not be the people we are today without you in our lives. Teaching us such a great work ethic, (however I think David inherited the Tom Foolery more!!!) Teaching us to never give up and to always do what we say and promise! These are pictures of before and after carpet. And the wood floor all the way done, it was before we had cleaned it now that it is clean it looks even more beautiful. As you can see we have done alot of work but it has been totally worth it. I need to take some more pictures with our furniture in and with the bathroom all clean. The kitchen and spare bathroom are still works in progress.
Thanks so much to everyone for all the help and support through all this!! Thanks Kristi and Eric for insisting that we stay at your house until we had a bathroom that we could use, and watching our dogs for us!!Brian and Robyn, thanks for coming down on the weekend, during the week and staying until midnight ;) Thanks for dragging your poor kids down and them being so patient since there was nothing for them to do the whole time!! IKEA

During all the construction there was of course many trips to The Home Depot, Josie and Duncan get so much attention when we take them there.

We decided to take a weekend off from all the construction and go to IKEA. We stayed at this really cool golf resort place up on the hill overlooking the city. We spent 2 full days at IKEA planning out how we want our kitchen, and it just so happened that they are having a 20% Kitchen sale through May so that will help us out a ton.

These are some more pictures during construction, mostly of the master bathroom. We also decided halfway through that we wanted to take down the closet in the master bedroom so that we could have more square footage since the room was small and the closet was taking up too much space. Brian was so amazing he pretty much laid our whole wood floor by himself, he even came down on a Tuesday while Dave and I were at work to finish it all the way.

This is the condo during all the construction, they tore out all the cabinets, took down a couple walls and moved alot of electrical stuff. They removed the huge tub in the master bathroom, took down the wall separating the laundry room from the kitchen, took down the wall separating the toilet from the master bathroom and took down part of the wall looking into the kitchen.

So back in February Dave and I bought a condo! I have not got around to posting any pictures because we have been living in a huge mess for 2 months now. So this past weekend we finally got our computer set up and I was able to find my camera cord so that I could download the pictures.

We bought the condo the first of February and immediately started tearing stuff out so we could make it how we wanted it. This first collage are the pictures I took before we started tearing anything out, the carpet was so nasty and the cabinets were so ghetto so it all had to go! Not to mention that all of the ceiling in the whole house had to be scraped because it was the old popcorn stuff that they used to use.

We definitely had our work cut out for us, luckily Dave's brother Brian loves to do this kind of stuff so him and his family came down basically every weekend for 2 months to help. There is no way that we would have been able to do it without their help!!! Thanks again soooo much Brian and Robyn!! The condo is just under 1,000 square feet, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

We have been wanting to get another dog for a while now we just couldn't decide on if we wanted a puppy or if we wanted to rescue another dog like we did Josie. We went and looked at puppies a couple weeks before we got Duncan and they were really cute but they were so busy and biting everything and peeing every where! So we decided that we wanted to rescue one that is full grown and potty trained. We started the search on PetFinder and we able to find Duncan in St.George! So the day after Christmas we picked up my Mom, Dad and Mikey at the airport and headed up. On that Sunday we met the lady from HART, (a new foster program in St.George, there is no actual dog shelter just the pound, so a group of people got together and started the organization.) We met her at a dog park in town to see how Josie would react to him. We fell in love with him right away and decided that we wanted to take him home! So we have had him for about a month now and we love him.

The picture on the bottom in the middle is of them at our house, we propped up a mattress so they can look out the window while we are gone. They look so much alike any time we take them to the dog park or Lowes they get so much attention. An old man stopped Dave in Lowes the other day and told him "Sir when I die I want to come back as your dog!!!" It was so funny!!

Thanksgiving 2009

This post is a little late but I figured better late than never!! This year was kinda weird with Dave's parents being on their mission and my parents in Kansas since we usually go to either one of their houses. But the Driscolls invited us over and we brought the turkey fryer, we had heard such great things about it but none of us had ever done it before! So we gave it a shot, the guys were so brave to drop that thing in the screaming hot oil! The turkey didn't turn out so great but we learned a lot of new tips for next year so we will have to try again. After lunch we played the Wii, it was so much fun Kristi had this new game that us four adults played for like 3 hours!!! We are so grateful for good family that we can always count on!!

So You Think You Can Dance Live Tour 2009

Dave and I had so much fun watching the dancers from Season 5 of So You Think You Can Dance. We were about 8 rows from the front, we had such a great view. It was really fun to see our favorite dances and dancers live!!

My favorite dance of the whole season was this one with Jeanine and Phillip. Phillip was my favorite dancer, Daves was Kayla. So the first video is them together and the second is Phillip's awesome solo, listen at the begining of Phillip's solo and you can hear a 40 year old man behind us scream like a 12 year old girl. He was so funny I wished I could have gotten a picutre of him, he was so excited to be there. We had so much fun!!!

Tim McGraw Concert and Halloween!

The second week in October we went and saw Tim McGraw that the "M" Resort here in Vegas. We weren't as close as I originally thought we would be but we still had fun anyway.
Before the concert the local radio station was handing out wrist bands to get into the lounge in the casino. Dave and I got there pretty early so we grabbed a wrist band and went to get something to eat. Later when we went back to the lounge we found out that they had only given away a certain number of wrist bands and we had got ours!! So the close up pictures of Tim McGraw are from inside the lounge.
We had a really fun night and even ended up running into George and Marie, they were in Vegas for their anniversary, we had dinner with them the night before, and told them that we were going to the concert. We didn't know that they were there until the end when we ran into them.

Halloween was fun, we met Lori and Rocco at McDonald's after they took their kids trick-or-treating. Lilly just loves Josie so much she had to get her picture taken with her. Since I don't have kids I had to dress up my dog, haha she was a lady bug and a witch. Cute little Gavin was Yoda, I didn't get a picture of Logan but he was Darth Vader.

Yesterday was a new experience for us, our power got shut off!! I know are we really that irresponsible you ask?? After Daves parents left for their mission we took over all the bills, well for some reason the power bill is not making it to us. So after a bunch of phone calls (thanks Kristi Driscoll!!!) we found out that it was on automatic bill pay. For those of you who know Daves mom she is not a automatic bill pay person. She likes to write everything down, when she paid it how much and what not so we knew that she would not sign up for bill pay. Gotta love her but she doesn't really even know how to check her own email! :) So after paying the $395.00 bill they told us that our power may be turned on by 9:00 p.m. last night but if not it wouldn't be until this morning! Are you serious people? Do you live in Las Vegas?? I called the weather hot line last night and at 8:20p.m. it was still 100 degrees!

So we stayed outside as long as we could since it was cooler inside then out. Dave had to end up hooking up our fridge to a power inverter that was wired with jumper cables to his truck battery. Finally at 8:45 this morning we had air conditioning.

Just stop and think of all the things that you use all day long that we take for granted. Not being able to turn on a light but still walking in the bathroom and flipping the switch that tells ya how much you depend on it. So the Stratton's are going to be more grateful for the things that we take for granted everyday! And we will not miss another power bill!!!

P.S. I changed my background to fall since it takes me so long to change it at least I will be ready!!

Sunday Dinner

So I just have to post real quick, mostly for my mom! So I made a roast today for dinner and I was really nervous about how it was going to turn out since I have not made a good one since we have been married! So after much searching on the net and talking to Kelli I made my attempt today!! It turned out so good, I am going to make Kelli's enchiladas with the leftovers tomorrow! Also Mom, my gravy turned out awesome.. almost as good as yours but not quite! The yorkshires well those were a different story I don't think I heated the pan long enough so needless to say they went in the trash! So yeah I was really proud of myself and I just had to blog about it!!!

Stratton Family Reunion

Over the weekend of the Fourth of July all of the Stratton family was in Las Vegas. Mary and Jerry left on the 13th to go on their mission to Kentucky! So all the kids got together one last time before they left.
We had so much fun, we had a bbq and swim party, did fireworks and watched the fireworks. We went up to Mount Charleston and had marsh mellow gun fights and just laughed and had so much fun together! It was so great to see everyone, all of Dave's eight siblings and all of the grand kids were here except for Casey who is on a mission. We are so proud of Mary and Jerry and we know that they are going to be awesome missionary's in the Louisville Kentucky Mission!

Stratton Family Reunion

We had so much fun at the reunion. Dave was all about the marsh mellow guns that Eric made, he was just like one of the kids! It was so much fun to have all of Dave's siblings here, all eight of the kids and their kids were here, except for Casey who is on a mission in Brazil.

Called To Serve Him

The day that we have been waiting for finally came!! Dave's parents got their mission call last night!! They got everyone on the phone that wasn't in town and then Mary read it..............Louisville Kentucky!!! They leave on July 13th, and they will be gone for 23 months! We are having a Stratton reunion the weekend of the 4th of July so it will be good for all of us to get together one last time before they leave. They are going to make such great missionary's. I'm sure that Mary will be all the elders replacement Mom!! We love you Mary and Jerry and are so excited for you!!!

Aircraft Carrier

So I posted these all backwards so scroll down to the first Washington D.C. post and work your way up! On the final day that we were there before we had to catch our flight we went to this huge aircraft carrier. I don't know what all the planes and what not are but they were cool. There are planes and helicopters parked on top and inside. Then before we drove to the airport we had to drive down to the Financial District so that Dave could say he drove down "Wall Street" that is where the huge bull is.

Thanks babe for taking me on this amazing trip! We are never going to forget all the fun times with had with Cris and Shayla, like when Cris stunned the cockroach with the flip flop, Dave honking at the little Japanese girls and all the other things that we laughed about until we cried! Thanks Cris and Shayla for going with us we had so much fun!!!!

Ellis Island, Statue of Liberty, Ground Zero

That night after we saw Mary Poppins we drove past Ground Zero on our way back to the hotel. There is not a monument there anymore because they are in the middle of building one. It was really crazy to see the huge hole where they used to be.
The following day we went to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. Ellis Island was what I was really excited to see because of the amazing history of the place. The Statue of Liberty is so cool you can't imagine how big it really is until you see it up close.

New York

So we drove back up to NYC on Saturday and that night we had tickets to go see Wicked!! It was the most amazing show ever! Our husbands even liked it! The next day we went and walked all around downtown. We went to Times Square, Central Park and ended up talking our sweet husbands into taking us to another Broadway show Mary Poppins, which was just as "magical" as the over excited ticket seller guy said it would be.

Washington D.C. Day 2

On our second day in Washington we went around and saw everything we could think of! We tried to get tickets to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing but were not able to. So we went and saw the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Monument and the White House. We also went to the Smithsonian which is amazing! We saw the flag the the Star Spangled Banner was written after, which is kept in a low light room and is huge! We spent the whole day just walking around and seeing everything that we could.

Washington D.C. Day 1

So back in April we took a trip with Cris and Shayla to Washington D.C. and New York City. I am going to post each day separate because there is a ton a pictures!
We took the red eye flight and arrived at JFK at around 6:00 a.m. after we got our rental car we, I mean the boys drove us to Washington D.C. while Shayla and I slept in the backseat! We got to D.C. around noon and decided that we should take a nap, so after we all got some rest we headed out to drive around and see some sights.
We drove past the Pentagon which we could actually see from our hotel. Then we decided to try to find the "National Mall" because hey its a mall we can find some places to eat right? Wrong!! It actually is where all the museums and what not are downtown. So our last stop that night was the World War Two Memorial which is really neat.

So we are going to New York for a week with our best friends Cris and Shayla! We are leaving on the 8th of April. We are going to spend a couple days in Washington D.C. and then the rest of the time in New York! If anyone knows of anything to see or eat while we are there please let us know! We are so excited and can't wait to go!!!
Also I am leaving to go to Hawaii on Friday night for a week so that will be fun. The project that Dave is working on is all finished so they just need someone there to make sure stuff doesn't get stolen. So we are going to spend some time at the beach and just hang out! So I will have lots of pictures to post after these vacations!

23 things I love about my wife!

This is Dave and I have never blogged before in my life. It's mostly a time issue, but since I'm still here in Hawaii and it's Sunday, I have some extra time. I wanted to tell Kristi 23 things that I love about her, since she did that for me on my birthday. Don't worry, I'm only two months late!!

1) Every kid in the world LOVES her.
2) She never gets speeding tickets. How do you do that?
3) Her eyes are gorgeous.
4) She can read like a thousand pages in an hour!
5) She thinks I'm so smart. (Miami, Miami ........, Miami)
6) She loves my friends. Cris and I never thought we'd pull that off.
7) Her hair is so pretty.
8) It was her idea to get Joise ....life's never been the same!
9) She has such a strong testimony.
10) She kinda has to be my mom sometimes and do things like tell me not to play with expensive things in the store, no diving, no petting the animals, no food allowed, this spot is for employee of the month parking, you only get one piece of bread for the sacrament, etc.
11) She has a great smile.
12) She always trusts me ......no matter how many times the "plan" changes.
13) She makes me want to be a better person. A lot better person!
14) She is so patient with me ....see #10
15) Let's face it, she's sexy!!
16) No one's ever been so nice to me. Ever!
17) She never pretends to be something that she's not. She's so real and down to earth and I LOVE that about her! She doesn't think that life's all about what everyone else thinks. She doesn't try to impress people, even though she naturally does anyway.
18) She can't pronounce Spanish words or Hawaiian words that well, so Li Hing comes out as Lingy Lingy and things like that. It's so cute!
19) She laughs at my jokes when no one else does.
20) We get along like best friends. I love hanging out with her and going on trips with her. It's just so fun being with her.
21) Everyone loves her. She has a great personality.
22) She's so funny. One time I told her that cleaning the house was part of her job and that I was going to give her a grade at the end of the week. For the next three or four weeks, every time I asked her a question she would reply "yes boss" or "no boss". If I asked if she wanted to go to a movie, she would say "yes boss". It was so funny!
23) She's perfect. Honey, I never dreamed that I could love someone so much. You make marriage so easy and so much fun! I don't know what I ever did to deserve you. We've been through some really good times and we've been through some really tough times, but with you they've all been great times. Thank you for being my wife. I love you so so much.

So Dave flew home last Saturday and Kelli and Lance flew in on Sunday. So I drove down and picked up Dave and we stayed one night in the Aliante Station. It was such a good weekend getting to spend time with Dave. I will be glad when he comes home and stays home!!

On Sunday Kelli and Lance flew in so we went and picked them up. We had such a fun week while they were here. Carson had his 5th Birthday party at Pirate Pizza and the kids had so much fun! Braysen got blessed on Saturday and looked so handsome! It was so fun to have them here. They left today to go to Disneyland with Lance's family so we miss them already. Good thing we will be able to see them again before they go home. We really had a fun week I wish that Dave was here to share it with us. Miss you babe! Can't wait for you to get home!!

So Dave left to Hawaii on Tuesday last week so I have been bored!! So Friday Sandy and I took the boys to Pirate Pizza since Dan was gone too. We had fun the food was really good and of course the boys kept us entertained the whole time!! On Saturday Cris and Shayla drove all the way up here just to hang out with me! We went and did some shopping and went to lunch and just hung out!! Thanks guys it was so much fun!! Dave is coming home next weekend for a few days then he has to go back for a few more weeks. New Years Eve was so much fun this year! We went down to Vegas to celebrate with Cris and Shayla. Shayla had made so much yummy food and of course it wouldn't be a party without the Wii!! We all made it to midnight, and no my husband did not kiss Cris! He told me not to put that picture on here but it totally is them they are the biggest dorks!! We went bowling the next night and that was fun but we all thought that we were going to be so good because we had been playing it on the Wii. We should just stick to playing it on the Wii. So I have no pictures to post! I didn't take any pictures on Christmas. When you don't have kids there is not a whole lot to see! Dave and I didn't do much for each other this year because we are trying to save up money to get into a house. We did have a really good Christmas, we had Christmas Eve dinner at my mom and Dads. We had prime rib that was amazing!!! Then we hung out and went and looked at Christmas lights. Christmas morning we watched Mikey open his presents, and then gave Mom and Dad their present from us. Thanks Mom and Dad for the food storage bucket! Sandy came over and brought the Wii or the "weed" as Carson calls it! We spent the day playing that it was a lot of fun! We went down and hung out with Cris and Shayla! We had a really good week just relaxing! Thanks for all the fun everyone!

My birthday started out by going to lunch with Sandy and the boys. I didn't have my camera but Sandy posted a cute collage on her blog. Then I went to work for about 3 hours and then came home and Dave and I headed to Vegas. We picked up Cris and Shayla and headed to BJ's Pizza for dinner. It was really yummy!! They brought this cookie with ice cream on it, it was so good! After dinner we went to Opportunity Village downtown. Every year this place gets decorated by different sponsors and you walk through and look at all the cute decorations. After that we went back to Cris and Shayla's house and watched a movie. We went shopping on Saturday and I got a bunch of cute stuff!! Thanks Kelli and Sandy for the gift card. Also thanks Cris and Shayla for the gift card!!! This past weekend we went down to Las Vegas to see Dave's sister Brittany. She had a cute little baby back in April but every time she was in Vegas I was gone so this was the first time I got to see her. That is the baby that Dave is holding which is a huge thing for him because he doesn't love to hold little baby's. We got there on Saturday morning and my bro in law Eric was at the air show and told us to come over. Since its like 10 min from my mother in laws house we did. It was really cool to watch the Thunder Birds. After that we went to dinner at Macayos, the Stratton family's fav mexican place. The next morning Britt got there with baby Addison and I just loved on her all day until we had to go home! We will be going back down again this weekend to have Britt color my hair so that will be good. I started my new job yesterday and it went really good. I know that I will be learning a lot because its a totally different than anything I have done. I am working for a Private Investigator as her secretary. I have to learn a lot of stuff on the computer. For now that is all that is going on in our life! We are so excited for the Holiday season!!

We made it to St.George! We got on the flight Saturday afternoon that leaves Hawaii at 3:00 p.m and we arrived in Las Vegas at 11:50 p.m. Thanks to my parents in law for coming and picking us up! We spent the night there and visited with Dave's family then headed to St.George. We just got done carving pumpkins, I didn't take any pictures but I will take some off of Sandy's blog. Plus I am way tired even though its only 5 p.m. in Hawaii! Well that is all for now hopefully we get to stay here for now and Dave and his boss will just travel back and forth to Hawaii. I am glad that we get to be home for the holiday season!

So here are some more pictures from Hawaii, I am getting lazy like Sandy and plus the picasa is so much fun! Picasa is and editing program free from google. I will just explain some of the pictures, we went to the Valley Of Temples the other day. We drive by it everyday on our way home from Honolulu. It was really cool its like one big cemetery with these really cool elaborate grave stones. There are like 3 or 4 different temples there too. The Byodo-In temple is the really cool red one, they had this big bell that you rang before you went in for good luck. We didn't go in because you had to take your shoes off and Dave didn't want to but you could walk around it and see what was in it. That is the picture of the big statue thing. Then just some random pictures of Josie cuz she is our kid for now ha ha. Most of the beach pictures I took while we were driving the other day, its so amazing driving home and just being able to look at the ocean the whole time. So that about explains it! We have been having fun, we are planning on going to the Haunted Swamp at the Polynesian Cultural Center it should be fun.

So on to the big news no I am not pregnant I wish but I am not. The big news is that we are coming home! ha ha Bet ya wouldn't have guessed that huh? Well there have been some changes within Dave's company and they really need Dave back in St.George. I am really actually WAY excited I have liked being here a lot but I am excited to be home for the Holidays and for winter. Dave is also excited he will not miss the bad cell phone reception and the hot humid weather all the time! But it really has been way fun for us to be here even though I wasn't here that long. Dave and I have grown so much closer being together and kinda on our own. I love him so much and I am glad that we get to come home and be in the same place!!

Today while I was in Home Depot waiting for Dave to look for some stuff I saw this thing fall out of the sky. I look over like a few feet from me and it was this little baby bird! Alot of places like Costco and Walmart that have open doors alot have birds inside in the rafters. We couldnt see the nest but even if we could what would we have done? So Dave came over and it kept trying to fly and it just kept falling on its belly. I think that it tried so hard that it died because Dave picked it up and it wasn't moving! So sad, so we set it on this pile of wood so maybe its mom could come get it!

So Hawaii has been really great so far, me and Dave get to hang out everyday. We have mostly just been going to the beach and hanging out. On Saturday we went to the Dole Plantation.Dave had already been there but was very nice to take me and even go on the little train ride again.

One day before I got here Dave drove an hour one way just to get this ice cream at Dole. So when we were on our way there Dave kept telling me that it would be totally worth it for me to try it. After going to Hawaii on our honeymoon I found out that I was allergic to pinapples. My mom has to make me a seperate fruit pizza because I can't even eat anything that touches it. So I gave in and tried the pinapple ice cream with fresh pinapples on it. The rest of the day no cankers and the next day none either!! So who knows maybe I will be able to eat them again.

So since I am not working while we are here I decided that maybe I could bath Joise and cut her hair. It went pretty well Dave was really good at washing her and then I cut it. I have been watching stuff on youtube to see how to cut it better.

So I made it here! Thanks Sandy for keeping everyone updated you read my mind I was going to ask you to log on for me and do it!! I have been here for a week now and its been great! We just got internet hooked up on Wed but they gave us a bad modem so we got a new one and now we have internet! I have some pictures but I am too tired to deal with the upload so I will do it tomorrow after church! We are doing good I hang out with Dave all day mostly. He is working right here where we live so thats nice. We go down to Honolulu almost everyday and its about an hour drive one way! Where we live is really pretty we do live close to the temple but not as close as I thought! The beach is really close which is good we have been going out every night after work and cooling off! That is all for now I have pictures from the Dole Plantation and the beach that I will put on tomorrow!

So I didnt make it on the plane, I know sad. I went on Tuesday night at like 12:30 to wait and the plane was already pretty full. So they got about 10 of the stand by people on but I wasnt one of them! So we are going to try again tomorrow morning at 10:30 a.m. Dave said that there is a pretty good chance I will get on so hopefully. The one crappy thing was that my bags went but I didnt so I have no clean clothes and nothing to get ready! Luckily my mother in law came and picked me up and I had clothes that were locked in my bed room so thanks to my Mom, Dad and Mikey for getting the key and taking it to Daves boss Max who travels to St.George from Vegas everyday to work. So Max brought me the key and I was able to shower and wash my hair this morning! Thanks Mom and Dad so much!!! So I will try it again who knows I will probably be posting again tomorrow when I dont make it on! Everyone keep praying for me that I make it!

So Josie and I are on stand by for the 2:30 am flight tonight!! We hopefully will make it on and then be in Hawaii at 6:00 am Hawaii time. So on Monday we decided to go to Disneyland so we got it planned and left Tuesday! Mom, Dad, Sandy, Carson, Conner, Mikey and Me all went. We went to Disneyland on Wednesday and then to California Adventure on Thursday. We had so much fun! We got to go on all the rides because there was never more than a 15 min wait. We went to the beach on Friday and of course it was cold because it always is when we go to the beach! But we still had fun!! Mikey tried to boogie board and froze his butt off!! Me and Carson had fun looking for shells and playing in the sand!! Then Saturday morning we went to the swap meet and then drove home! Thanks for mom and dad so much for taking us! We had so much fun!!

Sandy and I went to Salt Lake for our Adams family "Christmas" party. They do it earlier in the year so that our grandparents don't have to travel in the snow. So Dave has been in Hawaii for the last week. He thought he was just going for a week to work but we guess that he is staying for a while now. His boss told him that when I am ready to go out there they will fly me out to live. So as of today I am going to be flying out there sometime next week. Me and Josie will be making the 6 hour flight alone!! I dont really know what to expect other than Dave is working right where we are living so that will be nice, he also said that we are living within walking distance from the temple! So obviously were are not living in Hawaii because I would be bragging to everyone about it!! So we had a change of plans, Dave's bosses think that he is too valuable working here in St.George. So they are letting us stay here and they are going to get someone else to work in Hawaii. We are currently staying at my Mom and Dads house because we still have a lease to finish out in Las Vegas. Once our lease runs up down there we will be looking for something to rent here in St.George. Meanwhile I am looking for a job and driving Dave nuts because I am not working! So if anybody knows of anything let me know! I went to SLC last week with Mom, Dad Sandy, and the boys. We went swimming at Sue's house went shopping at Park City and just hung out. I am on Mikey's laptop so I dont have any pictures to put on until we get our desktop moved up!

Just a little update! We are not in Hawaii yet. Dave was suppose to go this week with his boss and see the job and whatever else but for some reason they are not leaving tomorow.
So here we are in the awful summer heat of Las Vegas for another week. But on the brighter side I get to go to SLC this week with Mom and Dad, Sandy and the boys and Mike! We are going to go shopping at the outlets in Park City and hang out with family! Also congrats to Kelli and Lance they are having a boy!! Thats why we have to go shopping cuz now Mom knows what it is! haha

We had a busy weekend, Dave's best friend Cris got married and then we went up to Idaho Falls because Dave was working up there. Friday Cris and Shayla went through the temple and then Saturday they got married. After their pictures outside the Vegas temple Dave and I headed home to pack and get ready to go. We got up to Idaho about 5 a.m Sunday morning it was a crazy day! Dave worked on Monday and me and my sister in law Robyn went to the mall and then walked around by the temple to take pictures. We then came home that afternoon we were passing through SLC so we stopped by and saw Grandma and Grandpa Richey and Aunt Sue! We love to see them they always send us away with loads of treats! We stayed in St. George Monday night and I got to hang out with Sandy and the boys on Tuesday it was fun! We came home Tuesday night and now are getting ready to move to Hawaii! I know we like to move! haha Dave got a job offer to go over there for 5-6 months to work on a condo project. We will be living right near the temple and the Polynesia Center. We are really lookin forward to a new adventure! We don't know a whole lot of details but we will be leaving sometime in the next week, its just a temporary move so we wont be packing up too much even though we are good at that! But I will be posting when I know more or if I am there I will be posting about my new house and all thats going on!

Sanda and I went to Kansas for the Fourth of July. We stayed the night in Whicita and the next day we went to the zoo. I didnt get very many pictures from this trip because I don't have a camera charger. We then went to Tipton and spent the rest of the week hanging out with the fam! The boys lit off so many fireworks it was so fun! You can actually get the ones that go up in the air and you don't get in trouble. I had so much fun, thanks Mom and Dad for bringing us out there! We will have to go to Kansas for the 4th of July every year!

Universal Studios

Sorry this took me so long to update, I didn't have any pictures to put on here until now. Dave and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary on Wednesday. We decided to take a trip to California since we are only about 4 hours away. We wanted to go to Universal Studios because that is what we did last year and we thought it would be fun. We went down Friday night and then went to Universal on Saturday, it was really fun except that it was like a million degrees. We got VIP passes which are really cool you get to take a 3 hour tram ride you get to go in a actual working studio, the set that we got to go on was the set for the t.v show Life. We haven't ever watched it but we knew what the basic story line was. You also get to go in the front of the line on every ride. You have this tour guy that takes you around all day and he tells you lots of cool stuff. After that we went and had a nice dinner and then came home Sunday afternoon. Our hotel we stayed at was in Ontario its like 45 min from L.A. This was a really cool fountain thing that started up really high went down this walkway thing. Overall we had a really good time, I was just glad that I got to spend some time with my husband he is such a great guy. I love him so much I am grateful for all he teaches me and how he takes such good care of me.

So I am still new to this whole blogger thing so if things look a little weird its because I still haven't figured out! Also I want to tell everyone that leaves me comments thanks! I just learned how to read those so don't think I don't appriciate them I just didn't know how to read them! Okay so to the pictures now. Dave and I moved to Las Vegas, I know we move alot! Hopefully we will be here for a while. Dave decided that engineering just wasnt the thing he wanted to do, as of right now he just wants to finish up his Bach. degree and then go from there. I am not working yet, I don't know if I really want to cut hair so I am trying to decided and find something that I would like to do. So the weekend that we got our lasik we decided to go to San Fransico! Its only about and 2 1/2 hour drive from Reno and since we knew that we were going to be moving to Las Vegas we wanted to go since we might not be able to do it again. So Sunday morning we got up and drove to the pier. We got there and ate some fresh fish and then went to figure out what we were going to do that day. We went on the boat tour I have some pictures below that show it. Then we went to the aqarium and I also have pictures below. We had so much fun and then we just drove back that night because I had to work the next day!

Josie loved the sea lions everytime they would bark or whatever they do she would stick her head through the bars and watch them.

We had so much fun in San Fransisco, we went on a boat tour that was about and hour long. It took us under the Golden Gate Bridge, around to Alcatraz and back to the harbor. It was amazing to see the bridge that close up. There were guys working on it and they had this big huge net thing under them that would catch them if they were to fall.

I made Dave stand by this star fish in the aqarium because it was up about his height and it was really cool looking.

Dave was really brave he wasnt scared to pet the sting rays or the sharks.

The only thing that I would touch was the star fish and that still freaked me out a little.

This is also on the boat tour, Alcatraz is to the right of us its kinda hard to tell but we went pretty close to it. It was kinda scary looking because it was all run down but it was really neat to see.

Lasik!!

Friday Feb 29th was the big day! I have been blind ever since I can remember! Dave and I both decided to get lasik while we are young enough to enjoy it and are good candidates for it. Plus if we got it together they gave us a packaged deal.

We went in 2 weeks before our actual date and got a bunch of tests done, they measure your eyes and do this dry eye test. Everything went good then and so we were ready for our actual appointment day. We went in at 9:00 a.m. on Friday and they gave us info on what to do and what not to do after the lasik, these are the awesome glasses that we had to wear. The first day we were home we had to wear them inside and out and then after that for a week we just have to wear sun glasses whenever we are outside. They also gave us these goggles that look like raquetball goggles with padding around them and you are suppose to wear them when you go to bed for at least one week if not two! We are both doing really good, Dave is doing a little better than me but he didn't have 6% of his tissue removed! We are so glad that we had the opportunity to get this done and we recommend it to anyone who is thinking about it!

Sandy the boys and me all went to Kansas for a whole week. The boys did so well on the plane Carson really had fun. I think that Sandy was more scared than they were!! It was so much fun for all the girls to be together and get to be with mom. Thanks Kelli for taking such good care of me! Thanks Mom and Dad for making it possible so that we could come! I love you all and miss you all!
Brinlee was my little buddy! She thought it was the coolest thing ever that I had a brown puffy coat just like hers! I stayed with Kelli and Lance and Brinlee was so much fun! I miss getting to see them grow up! (Brax was fun too!!)
Lizzie was also my buddy at times! I love that little girl so much! She is so hilarious she says the most random things.....Bobby!!!! hahahaha I had to add that sorry Binny!
I had to take a picture I know it is embarrassing for Binny but its so funny. Poor Lizzie is so stinking skinny she cant keep her pants up! She usually just goes along until someone tells her to pull them up!! I love her!!

Snow Day!

This was a few days after we got here!
We woke up to about 4 inches of snow!

Josie likes the snow. She wants to know
why we moved back to Beaver.
(Thats where we got her from)

We like it! It may be small but we really
like living here.

This is our bedroom, we only had room for our
box springs and matress and our chest.

This is the living room, we had to stay on a
air matress when we first got here because
our bed was in the back of the moving truck!
Notice the awesome light fixture? Compliments of Wendy's!
Hank (this is his apartment) renovated some
Wendy's so thats where it came from!

This is the bathroom/laundry room.
It's cool you can just throw your
clothes in the washer when you
get in the shower! haha

This is the kitchen, we got
a little cabinent and its on the
wall straight ahead. We use it as a
pantry.Our table (thanks to Sandy)
is on the wall across from the fridge.
